Good Night Dax

Visited Dax after dinner. He has opened his eyes a few times, but unfortunately not while we were there. He is moving around a good bit and breathing 5-6 breaths on his own every minute. They are trying to balance managing his pain and allowing him to wake up more so that he can continue to breathe more on his own. Katie, his night nurse, was very sweet and patiently answered all of our questions. We bid him goodnight and are on our way home now to hopefully get a little shut eye. We hope he makes significant progress during the night. Good night and till tomorrow everyone!
