Surgery will begin at 7:30am tomorrow morning. We're so happy we got the morning slot. We have to check in by 6:00am. Surgery is expect to take around 3 hours and we will receive updates from the surgical team every 1 to 1.5 hours. They estimate he'll be in the ICU sometime between 11am-12pm. We will of course provide updates here.
We are still in pre-op and will probably be until at least 1 or 2. They still need to do and echo, chest x-ray and labs.
For family coming to the surgery... take the flower elevator to the 3rd floor waiting room.
