The hospital called and pushed our start time back by 1 hour. We don't have to be at the hospital until 7am now. They prep and sedate him and the actually surgery should begin around 8:30 and will take 3-4 hours according to the surgeon. We will receive updates during surgery every 1-1.5 hours.
The pre-op was a 6 hour exhausting ordeal, but Dax was a trooper. He didn't complain and was eating up all of the attention with a spoon. He made it look easy and didn't even cry when they drew his blood for labs.
